PatrolTech Field Notes is published by Ingenieros Web SL, the company behind PatrolTech. The product was founded in 2024. Our team is based in Madrid, Spain.
We write for security companies, facilities teams and property managers who need practical records of patrol work: QR/NFC checkpoints, offline workflows, incident reporting and shift handovers.
Guard tours that keep working offline
The Android patrol app records checkpoint visits and incidents, including photos and notes. When connectivity returns, offline records synchronize with the web dashboard so managers can review activity, routes and reports.
A practical example: an officer visits a basement checkpoint without coverage and records an incident. The visit happens in the field; synchronization happens later. Our guide to visit time and sync time explains why those events should be understood separately.
